Three NRD incumbents didn’t file by deadline

Staff at the Upper Republican NRD office in Imperial are hoping more people choose to step up and file for open NRD board seats in this year’s election.
Three incumbents did not file for re-election as the Feb. 15 deadline came and went. Three other incumbents did file for the seats they now hold.
Nate Jenkins, NRD Assistant Manager, said they are hopeful some service-minded people in the district decide to run for one of the four-year terms.
Incumbents who didn’t file were Jeff Wallin of Imperial, who holds the board’s at-large seat; Loren Jessen of Grant, Subdistrict 8; and Brett Bullock of Madrid, Subdistrict 10.
