Cattlemen’s Ball hosts 4-Man Scramble, 5K at Enders Golf Course

Enders Lake Golf Course had busy mornings Friday and Saturday with Cattlemen’s Ball events taking place.
Eighteen teams teed off at 8 a.m. MT Friday morning for the Four-Man Scramble.
The tournament was organized by Rusty Wellman and his wife, Wauneta-native, Dixi Travis Wellman.
Eric Hutto, Darien Hutto, Trevor Oberg and Brian Radel of McCook took top honors.
The Imperial team of Dustin Weiss, Josh Miller and Rusty Wellman finished second.
With proceeds going to the Cattlemen’s Ball and cancer research, teams had a chance to open their wallets to give more.
The first hole proved to be entertaining. Team members hit their drives from their seat in a saddle on a bale of hay.
