With the Chase County Fair only three weeks away, parade organizer and Chamber of Commerce member Chris Lee said registration forms are available.
The Saturday morning parade will begin on Aug. 17 at 10:30 a.m. in Imperial. Pre-registration is required if groups would like to be judged, Lee said.
    Forms are available at The Imperial Republican office, the FV Coop office and other locations in town, as well as in this newspaper.
Forms should be taken or mailed to the coop office in Imperial.
Entries are to line up at 8:30 a.m., and judging will start at 9 a.m.
This year’s theme is “Chase County Fair—Would you go with me?” That line is the title of a song by Josh Turner, who will be the headliner for the fair grandstand later that night.
