The Wauneta Breeze’s office was broken into sometime Thursday night.
    Breeze staff member Shelby Cox returned from covering the Chase County Fair just after 10 p.m. Thursday to find the back door of the business open.
    The thief scattered papers, poured coffee grounds on the floor and took money out of the cash drawer. Nothing else was missing and there was no further vandalism.
    The person appeared to have gotten in by forcing open the back door.
    Chase County Sheriff Kevin Mueller said there are no suspects.
