Enders SRA Park Superintendent Beau Liking estimated the lake to be 22 percent full.

Officials unconcerned about Enders Dam

The Spencer dam in eastern Nebraska may have failed, but officials on this end of the state have no concerns about that happening here.
If anything, they say, the reservoir could use more water.
“If we can get some good rains, it would certainly help the lake, because we’re so low,” said Beau Licking, park superintendent at the Enders Dam. “If we get a big rain, we’ve got room to spare.”
As of late last week, the reservoir was only 22 percent full, he said.
“We don’t have any concerns,” said
Aaron Thompson, area manager for the Bureau of Reclamation Office in McCook.
“Inflows at Enders are low and have been low for years, but if we were to receive a large inflow into the reservoir, I have no concerns we’d be able to handle any amount.”
