Nebraska Cattlemen’s Ball committee members gathered in person, over the phone and by video conferencing Jan. 6 at the Wauneta Senior Center to continue planning for the June 7-8 ball.
    Hosts Derek and Allison Sandman and Wayne and Chris Krausnick displayed an initial layout for the site on the Krausnick’s land downsteam from Enders Reservoir on the south side on Highway 6.
    Layout for the event centers around the location of the main tent. W. Krausnick said the tent, one of 24 planned for, will be at the west end of the site. He added that a road will be built to allow easier access for caterers, entertainers and the trucks needed to haul everything in. A second road may be constructed allowing for access from the west.
