In looking back at my records I found that the last time I wrote an article about the Senior Center was in November of 2014. My how time goes by.
    During the past four years the board has been able to replace two AC/Heating units, replace the commercial oven in the kitchen and paint the entire interior and upgrade some of the wall hangings. Also during this time the board has continued to receive donations, memorial funds and grant to help keep the Senior Center in a solid financial position. All of your donations and gifts are greatly appreciated and are used for the benefit of the center.
    Our immediate need is the fill our staff positions of Food Service and Director. In 2018 our cook was Krystal Hunt and her fill in was Julie Hunt, Betty McCallum and Myra Large. Krystal has moved to Pennsylvania in January 2019. Julie has made other full-time commitments until she goes to school this fall and Betty and Myra are not able to commit time to cook full time. The center has been advertising for both staff positions since early December and have not been able to fill either positions. We do have an application for director, but if we are not able to serve meals then there is no need for a director.
