Wauneta man hits Imperial store

A rural Wauneta man accidentally ran his car into the front of an Imperial grocery store Nov. 6.
A 2005 Buick La Sabre, driven by 78-year-old Fred Krausnick hit the front door and window area of Hill’s Family Foods, 131 E. 5th St. at about 4:35 p.m. The Chase County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call about an accident with injuries and Sgt. Justin Mueller responded to the accident.
Two female patrons and a male employee were struck while walking out the door.
One of the customers was transported by EMS to Chase County Community Hospital, while the other was released with no injuries.
The male employee was taken to the hospital by private vehicle after the accident, said Mueller.
The injuries suffered by both parties were non-life-threatening, he added.
