Across America people spent their Monday honoring and remembering the many who lost their lives 16 years ago in an event that shook the nation. In commemoration of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the Twin Towers in New York City and the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., Wauneta’s main street was lined with flags and the Wauneta Volunteer Fire Department and EMTs parked vehicles along main street.
