The project was a community service project that included scraping and painting the structure. Wauneta was a deal-hunter’s paradise Saturday when the Wauneta Chamber hosted the annual town-wide garage sales. There were 15 sales in town and two rural sales listed on the map. Above, shoppers look through items at the sale held behind HomeTown Agency. Below, the United Methodist Church sale featured treasures, baked goods, lunch and breakfast fare.
