Sandra Bolton

    Sandra “Sandi” Bolton, 68, of Aurora lost her battle with pancreatic cancer on March 9, 2017 at CHI- Health St. Francis Skilled Care with her family by her side.
    A gathering of friends and family was held at All Faiths Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 14.
    Memorial services were held on Wednesday, March 15 at Zion Lutheran Church in Benedict, Neb. Pastor Kimberly Belken will officiate. Inurnment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Benedict.
    Sandi was born on Dec. 8, 1948, daughter of Howard and Lorena (Lorimer) Legg in Imperial, Neb.
    She grew up and graduated from high school in Wauneta in 1967. Sandi went on to Lincoln and became a licensed beautician.
    On March 15, 1970, she married Robert “Bob” Bolton, they were blessed with two children, Nicole “Nicci” and Matt. Sandi liked taking care of her flowers and trees but her greatest passion was her family. Making pancakes or waffles for her four grandchildren gave her great joy.
    Besides love of family, Sandi had a great love of animals. She volunteered at Aurora Adopt a Pet for several years, taking care of both dogs and cats.
    She grew up around construction and used it throughout her life remodeling and even designed and helped build her own home.
    She leaves behind her husband Bob Bolton; children, Nicci (Bill) Kropatsch of Osceola, Neb., and Matt (Staci) Bolton of Lincoln, Neb.; grandchildren Tanner and Eastyn Kropatsch; Mackenzie and Chance Bolton; brothers Gerald (Sandy) Legg of Dannebrog; Jack (Judy) Legg of Grand Junction, Colo.; Mel (Trish) Legg of Doniphan, Neb.; nieces and nephews Shannon (Nicole) Legg of York, Neb.; Jackie (James) Wells of Palisade, Colo.; Tom (Sandy) Legg of Grand Junction, Colo.; Kristy (Gary) McClary of Palisade, Colo.; Mike (Amy) Legg of Moutrose, Colo.;  Kelly ( Rick) Ware of Lincoln and Kim (Mike) McCarty of Lincoln; along with a host of great nieces and nephews, and last but not least, Boomer her beloved golden retriever.
    Sandi was preceded in death by her parents and parents-in-law.
    In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Aurora Adopt a Pet.
