William Dale Kunnemann

William Dale (Bill) Kunnemann was born Dec 12, 1934, in Imperial, Nebraska to George and Rosa (Haarberg) Kunnemann.
Bill attended country school at Dist. #6 in Chase County where he graduated eighth grade.
On Feb 5, 1956, he and Mary Ann Brunner were united in marriage at United Methodist Church in Grant and to this union were born Barbara, Kevin, Marisa, Susan and Janelle.
Bill and Mary Ann settled on the farm northwest of Imperial where Bill was raised. He farmed and raised cattle until his retirement in 1997. After his retirement he worked part-time for several other farmers in the area.
Bill was a baptized member of Zion Lutheran Church in Imperial and from 1970 to 1981 he served as Sunday School Superintendent. He also served Zion in other leadership roles. He liked to play pitch and go to farm sales.
Bill passed away Sun, Dec 23, 2018, at the Imperial Manor. He was 84 years old.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents George and Rosa Kunnemann; brother-in-law Wendell Brunner and sisters-in-law Joan Brunner and Kathryn Brunner.
Survivors include his wife Mary Ann of Imperial; daughter Barbara (Dennis) Denke of Plano, Texas, son Kevin (Lisa) Kunnemann of Johnson Lake, Marisa Kunnemann of Imperial, Susan (Jim) Lamendola of Magnolia, Texas, and Janelle (Stevan Jr.) Hendricks of Winfield, Missouri; grandchildren Mariana (Trae) Lenox of Wylie, Texas, Sarah (Mikey) Havey of Hartland, Wisconsin, Matt Fitzgerald of Lexington, Mike (Jackie) Fitzgerald of St. Paul, Taylor (Katie) Kunnemann Cupp of Mound, Minnesota, Marcus (Ashley) Fitzgerald of Hastings, Emily and Laurie Lamendola, Lydia and Kirk Hendricks; great-grandchildren Rose Lenox, Madison and Ryan Fitzgerald, Landon and Aubree Fitzgerald, Ashtyn and Bronx Kunnemann Cupp, Shaylee Stroyek, Paige Taylor and Maliya Fitzgerald; brother Kenneth (Kathy) Kunnemann of Imperial; brother-in-law Curtis Brunner of Tucson Arizona; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Wednesday morning, Dec. 26, 2018, 10:30 a.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church of Imperial with Pastor David Kahle officiating. Interment followed at Mount Hope Cemetery, Imperial.
Visitation was held before services Wednesday, Dec. 26, starting at 8:30 a.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church of Imperial.
A memorial has been established to the Zion Lutheran Church of Imperial.
