Seven Wauneta-Palisade students participated in Saturday’s Singing Youth of Nebraska. Pictured are (front, left to right) Sonya Behrends, Sophia Alfayo, Ryleigh McCrumb, (back, left to right) Hailea Baker, Kaitlynn Parrish, Olivia Behrends and Brianna Sramek. Each performer sent in a audition with the help of instructor Sara Behrends and was selected to take part.
    The group traveled to North Platte, one of seven Singing Youth of Nebraska sites. The performance was led by clinician Clayton Moyer. After a morning of practice there was an afternoon concert of six songs.
