Wauneta-Palisade Schools’ elementary faculty, students celebrate 100th day of school
The Palisade Attendance Center had a different looking crowd walking its halls Friday, Jan. 26. Replacing its usual t-shirt and jean clad students were grey haired, cane wielding 100-year-olds. In commemoration of WP’s 100th day of school students and faculty were encouraged to dress up as 100-year-olds. Students did various projects that incorporated the number 100 in the classroom.
Pre-K through fourth grade smile big (above) as they show off their 100-year-old poses and smiles. WP teachers (left) may be hunched with a couple extra grey hairs than normal, but are still all smiles.
