Horses, riders enjoy cool evening for competition at fair

With a ride of 16.444 seconds, Teresa McCormick had the top time during Barrel Racing Aug. 12 at the Chase County Fair.
Emma Degrasse and her horse Brownie took the 2D and Shawna Blanka was first in the 3D. Wendy Cole won the 4D. Wauneta’s Zoey Boos took home money with a third place ride in the 3D.
