Imperial reclaims Chase County Cup

Golfers playing for the Imperial Country Club recaptured the Chase County Cup Saturday in one of the more closely contended matches in several years with their counterparts from the Enders Lake Golf.
Team Imperial and Team Enders met at the Imperial Country Club course Saturday for the 19th playing of the Chase County Cup.
Team Enders held the cup after defeating Team Imperial last year at Enders Lake Golf Course in one of the most lopsided wins in cup history.
This year, Team Imperial took home the cup with 13.5 points to 10.5 points for Team Enders.
The two 12-member teams face off in a three-part match play contest that includes doubles best ball, doubles alternating shot and 12 singles matches for a total of 24 match points.
In doubles best ball, Team Imperial and Team Enders split, with each winning three matches.
