Joe Johnston and Marci Burgess carded a 68 to win the Couples Scramble held at the Enders Lake Golf Course. The pair won a sudden death playoff on Hole 1 over the teams of Cory and Leslie Nordhausen and  Beau and Mandi Kramer
    Rounding out the Championship Flight were Craig and Evonne Poppe with a 70.
    The Sunday, Aug. 23 event drew a field of 36 teams.
    Results of the scramble are as follows:

    1. Joe Johnston and Marci Burgess, 32-36=68; 2T. Cory and Leslie Nordhausen, 32-36=68; Beau and Mandi Kramer, 35-33=68; 4. Craig and Evonne Poppe, 34-36=70.
