Faith Simpson was named most valuable player for the West team at Saturday’s Wild West All-Star Classic at McCook Community College. Simpson and her teammates were coached by Katie and Landen Lawless. The West team rallied from a 1-2 deficit to win 17-25, 25-21, 21-25, 17-25 and 15-10.
    Cash Yearous (12) was on the East team, which rallied to win 21-13 at the West Nebraska All-Star Football Game June 9 in Scottsbluff.
