After a three week break, the Wauneta-Palisade wrestlers jumped right back into action with meets at Dundy County-Stratton and Garden County.
    WP started off the weekend Friday in Benkelman.
    Zackary Barrett started the meet off with a pin for the Broncos. Barrett went 2-3 on the day at 145 pounds. Of all the matches, WP Coach Danny Schluckebier was most happy with Barrett’s third match when he pinned 14-13 Dominik Roberts of Arapahoe.
    Hunter Miner had the best day for WP, finishing 4-1 at 132 pounds. Miner’s only loss was to 21-1 Jeremy Larson of Brady.
    Ethan Carl at 160 pounds and Cody Holmes at 182 each won two matches.
