This past week was busy for future Wauneta-Palisade Bronco athletes. The school offered a two-day camp for students wanting to learn volleyball and football fundamentals. The volleyball camp was open to all third through eighth graders. Head volleyball coach Terra Higgins, pictured left, focused on the proper hitting approach and techniques. Participants were divided into groups based on their age. Each group was assisted by several high school volleyball players. The football camp was open to all third through sixth graders. Joseph Frecks, co-head football coach pictured right, led participants in warm ups, stretches and taught general football basics. Each participant received a football for participating in the camp.
