The deadline for buying 2019 Cattlemen’s Ball of Nebraska tickets has been extended.
    Tickets originally had to be bought by May 15, but ball Treasurer Joey Large said prospective purchasers will have a little more time.
    The new cutoff date hasn’t been determined, but Large said the time was extended after organizers talked to the event’s caterers. The ticket deadline is determined in part by how much time caterers need to prepare food for the several meals to be served during the event.
