If you want to gradually ramp your fun down after June’s Cattlemen’s Ball to be held near Wauneta, organizers have you covered.
    They have booked the locally popular country rock Brett Alan Band for an after-party.
    The group will close out the ball in the Saloon Tent Saturday night, June 8, following Clay Walker’s performance that night.
     McCook local and Nashville recording artist Brett Alan (Schmitz) is an up-and-coming singer and songwriter. With the recent release of his third and latest album, self-titled, “Brett Alan,” he speaks to his roots of growing up in the Nebraska Sand Hills. The first single released from the album, “You’re My Favorite Song,” has found radio airplay with both mainstream and independent radio stations.
