BWTelcom offering insight to alternatives to cable/satellite TV

With streaming devices slowly taking over main stream cable, BWTelcom hopes to offer its customers insight to affordable alternatives and a better understanding of this popular shift in entertainment.
Internet in households is becoming more of a utility rather than a luxury, and many people are choosing to “cut the cord” and opting for over-the-top (OTT) entertainment.
OTT is a type of entertainment that uses internet connection to stream film and TV content. Different from the traditional cable or satellite distribution, OTT offers access to shows or movies on demand.
A user must first have a device to stream on. There are many services to choose from, including devices like Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Google Chromecast, Apple TV, Nividia Shield TV and many others.
Prices may vary, so decision making comes down to what a person is willing to pay for and personal preferences.
Often times, gaming consoles also have streaming capabilities along with computers, tablets, cell phones, basically anything with internet capabilities. Smart TVs have built-in streaming capabilities which means owners do no need additional streaming devices.
