Canned food drive still needing donations

Western States Bank of Wauneta’s first “We CAN Do Good Together Canned Food Drive” is still needing donations from community members.
To help ready the Chase County Food Pantry for the holiday season, any nonperishable food donations are being accepted at Walgren’s Supermarket, Wauneta Crossroads, Harchelroad Motors, Western States Bank of Wauneta and Wauneta-Palisade Schools.
Community members are encouraged to drop off donations of canned milk, toilet paper, crackers, flour, sugar, hot dogs, canned items, noodles, toiletries, cereals, juices and any other nonperishable food items at any drop off location.
Western States Bank of Wauneta’s Senior Vice President Branch Manager Brenda Anderson also noted that community members can make a monetary donation, and bring them to the bank. Checks should be made out to the Chase County Food Pantry.
