“Finding Hope” is the theme for the Grant/Ogallala Women’s Connection. The afternoon meeting is open to everyone, Guys and Gals, and will be held Wednesday Nov. 14 beginning at 2:30 MT.
    The gathering will be at Westview, 1 Westview Drive in Grant, Nebraska and tickets are just $5.00 at the door.  Special entertainment will be provided by Alta Keating and her friend Buddy. She is a  local ventriloquist that is sure to put a smile on your face.
    The guest speaker will be Lynn Sargent from Indianola, Iowa. Lynn is a recently retired Teacher Associate and a Pioneer administrative assistant. She has three adult children and three granddaughters. She will be sharing her story “Eric’s Heart-Finding Hope After the Death of a Child” She shares how she faced the death of her six year old son (born with a defective heart) and found peace and hope through amazing events that took place during the challenging days of walking with him through the dying process and seeing the hope of heaven. She has written a book “Eric’s Heart…When a Mother Grieves”.
