Local couple wishes to share cinema example of God’s love

Once in a while there is a movie that simply “speaks to us” and where we are in our lives. That was the case for Duane and Beverly Dinnel of Wauneta when they read the book on which the movie, “The Shack” is based.
The Dinnel’s said they have been on a journey for the past eight years where God has really loved them and they said the movie really exemplifies how much God loves all of us.
The Internet Movie Database (IMDb) describes the movie by saying, “A grieving man receives a mysterious, personal invitation to meet with God at a place called ‘The Shack.’”
The couple was so taken by the book that they wanted to make sure as many people as possible could share in the experience of the movie.
“The Shack” is showing this weekend in both Wauneta and Imperial. The Dinnel’s have pledged to pay the movie admission for the first 50 people who attend the movie Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights in both towns. They are also sponsoring the movie in Wauneta.
