    Wayne Krausnick shot a 10x13 mule deer on opening day of firearm season. He first saw the stately buck this summer around his family’s pasture land west of Wauneta.
    The Wauneta-Palisade Bronco football team finished their season with a 8-3 record.
    Kelsie Skelton was a Sunday afternoon visitor in the Kevin Large home.
