Ruby and Keith Sailors announced this week that the Sailors Inn Cafe in Wauneta will be closed. Mrs. Sailors said the volume was not large enough to continue operating, considering labor and cost.
Ruby Anderson spent ten days at the home of her son Richard and Dot Anderson. She enjoyed seeing her grandchildren who were home from Oklahoma, Arkansas and Oregon.
Bill and Hilda Roschewski and Wayne and Elaine Roschewski and Melanie attended the Christmas Eve program at the Culbertson Lutheran Church. They were then guests of Sherry and Mark and Theron for chili and oyster stew.
New Year’s eve supper guests of Dale and Orpha Maris were Devon Maris of McCook and Leon and Dawn Maris and children.
Harry and Sylvia Ziegler were Christmas Day guests of Peggy and John Lanz.
Sam and Michelle Widger, Mark Widger and family, Keri and Adam Widger were Christmas guests of Ila and Orville Widger and all left on Sunday.
Neil Brunkhorst spent Christmas vacation with his mom, Kailee Wright in Greeley, Colorado.
Taya Gockley, Elvera Mullanix and Julie Stahr were guests of Hilda Nordhausen during the Christmas holiday.
