    The Wauneta-Palisade School District found a new superintendent. Monday afternoon school board members signed a contract with Nelson Dahl.
    Laura Buffington took Ray and Vicki Buffington out to dinner at Tommy’s on Friday to celebrate their anniversary, enjoying a great dinner.
    Mary Gage visited her mother, Velma Moody at the Heritage on Sunday.
    Bob and Pat Kitt stopped to check on Erma Kitt on Sunday on their way home from Denver.
    Ethel Louch, Carol Maddux and Ila Widger attended a brunch at the Palisade Methodist Church on Sunday.
    Leiauna Alberts celebrated her 11th birthday with her friends from Wauneta Friday night with a sleepover. Attending were Brianna Einspahr, Nicole Strand, Hannah Nordhausen and Sydnee Harchelroad.
