    Wauneta-Palisade’s Blair Dixon set a new meet record in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.6 breaking the 12.7 record set in 1999 by her coach, Dawn Doetker. She also tied Doetker’s record in the 200, matching her 26.4 time set in 1999.
    Noreen Christner of Wauneta visited Mildred Stretch on Saturday afternoon.
    Ron and Josie Lytle attended the benefit for Jamie and Jason Weiss in Palisade on Saturday evening.
    Friday Brock Gardner of Anchorage, Alaska was a visitor of Gary and Dawanna Greeley.

    Jean Wach was a Sunday afternoon visitor in the Hames Skelton home.
    Kathy Barger and Patti Fanning attended an auction in Palisade on Sunday afternoon.
    Bill and Martha Lawless attended the track meet in McCook on Wednesday.

    Mick and Gwen Brunkhorst were in Lincoln this weekend where they attended Parents Day at Kelly’s Ag-Men Fraternity House.
    On Sunday afternoon Mary and Orville Hamilton of Wauneta called in the home of her brother, Henry and Venice Butler.
