COVID-19 is not going to keep local veterans groups from honoring the town’s departed veterans, although ceremonies will be scaled back a bit.
    On Sunday, the Legion, VFW and SAL will conduct rifle salutes and taps at the traditional places.
    They will be at the Eden Cemetery at 9 a.m., St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in rural Wauneta at 9:30 a.m. and at Riverside Cemetery at 10:30 a.m. All times are MT. There will be no speaker at Riverside Cemetery.
    Due to pandemic restrictions, American Legion Auxiliary Post 304 will not serve its annual lunch at the community center.
