Lorna Taylor is no longer director of the Wauneta Senior Center.
    Taylor, 65, started work May 8 and replaced Myra Large, who left the position the previous month. Taylor is a native of Wauneta.
    Joey Large, president of the center’s board, said Taylor will continue to do volunteer work there.
    But he declined to give any details on her departure, calling it “a private issue between her and us.”
    He said the center would begin advertising for Taylor’s replacement.
    Taylor could not be reached for comment.
