Learn to hunt deer workshop

A Learn to Hunt workshop will be held Thursday, Oct. 19 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. CT at the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission office in North Platte.
    The free workshop is designed to introduce inexperienced participants to deer hunting and give those with experience some new ideas to implement this deer season along with insight to various deer hunting opportunities.
    Taught by experienced hunters and Nebraska Game and Parks staff, the workshop will cover the strategies, equipment, biology and scouting knowledge you need to know, as well as tips on how to get started for new hunters and ways to increase hunting skills, build confidence and increase success in the field.
