The Lady Broncos came back to tie the game at 18 and won the set. WP erased a 3-7 deficit in the third set to take a 25-22 win. The fourth set, a 14-25 loss for WP, was all about the Roughriders. The Lady Broncos trailed 5-10 in the final set, before storming back to tie the game at 14. The game was tied at 17 before Southwest scored the final two points for a 17-19 win.
WP Head Coach Terra Higgins said it was an exciting game. “Both teams played extremely hard and gave 110%,” Higgins said. “I was extremely proud of our girls to turn around and win sets two and three after dropping a close match in set one.”
