The Wauneta-Palisade junior high tracks team wrapped up its season Monday at the RPAC meet in Benkelman. The meet included Paxton, Wallace, Hayes Center, Dundy County-Stratton, Maywood, Hayes Center, Southwest and Medicine Valley. The WP girls’ team took runner-up at the event. WP boys’ team members are (front row, left to right) Cole Hamilton, Grant Walker, Braxton McKinney, Wyatt Muths, Ruel Malcolm, (back row, left to right) Laiden Lawler, Devon Carl, Cody Holmes, Allen Ramirez and Garrett Hanna.
Dave Engel and Gerald Geisert of Grant shot a 64 to win the Senior 2-Man Scramble held May 4 at the Enders Lake Golf Course.
